The Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation
LAUNCHES
Covid19 Emergency Fund for Palm Beach’s Police and Fire Departments

The safety and well-being of our neighbors and those who work on the island is of paramount importance to us. Based on the most current advisories issued from the Federal, State and Local Health Departments about the Coronavirus, authorities have recommended a 14-day period of isolation for all civilians.

While this advisory is underway, the Town’s police and fire rescue personnel must remain at work and  in the line of duty to keep our community safe.

These emergency funds are being earmarked to provide Emergency Relief supplies and meals for our Town’s first responders, and will be deployed rapidly and directly in support of first responders working in the frontlines during this coronavirus outbreak.

These funds will...

  • Provide for the purchase of emergency hazmat suits and masks distributed to the Palm Beach Police & Fire Rescue Departments
  • Help Provide meals for police and fire rescue employees working overtime
  • Help provide financial assistance with unanticipated expenses associated with COVID-19 that are not covered or budgeted by the Town of Palm Beach
  • Assist with emergency paid sick leave for public safety workers
  • Fund future emergency and/or medical-related crisis situations

Please help fund our mission and support the Town of Palm Beach’s dedicated First Responders, who put themselves at risk each day to keep us safe and secure. We sincerely thank you for your continued support of Palm Beach’s Police and Fire Departments.
