The safety and well-being of our neighbors and those who work on the island is of paramount importance to us. Based on the most current advisories issued from the Federal, State and Local Health Departments about the Coronavirus, authorities have recommended a 14-day period of isolation for all civilians.
While this advisory is underway, the Town’s police and fire rescue personnel must remain at work and in the line of duty to keep our community safe.
These emergency funds are being earmarked to provide Emergency Relief supplies and meals for our Town’s first responders, and will be deployed rapidly and directly in support of first responders working in the frontlines during this coronavirus outbreak.
