Tim Moran, Vice President Emeritus and Co-founder of The Palm Beach Police Foundation and the Council of 100, welcomed more than 130 guests, and recognized special guests that included Florida State Attorney Dave Aronberg, Palm Beach Town Council members, Palm Beach Police Foundation Board members, as well as the Police Department officers in attendance.
Public Safety Director Kirk Blouin and David S. Mack, the Council 100 President and the Foundation’s 1st Vice President, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Moran then introduced special guest speaker, RAIC Robert A. Pearce, United States Service, Resident Agent in Charge of the West Palm Beach Resident Office, who spoke to the group about his role with the Secret Service. “We do from event planning to crisis management, and everything in between,” he said, and explained how it relates to the protection of President Trump when he is in Palm Beach County. He also acknowledged the Palm Beach Police Department for its outstanding support.
Moran also introduced Palm Beacher Michael Falk , who shared information about his fundraising efforts on behalf of The Palm Beach Police Foundation thru RAAM - Race Across America, and about the Plantagenets, his team that will be participating in the upcoming coast-to-coast race in June. He also thanked Moran for agreeing to be his team’s Crew Chief.
Director of Public Safety Kirk Blouin presented “Officers of the Quarters.” Sgt. Dan Wilkinson and Captain Ann Marie Taylor were named “Officers of the Fourth and First Quarters” respectively, and each received a $500.00 check from the Palm Beach Police Foundation for their exemplary work.
